4th Feb: First Meet Up

I’ve set a provisional date for the first meet up: 8pm, Thursday the 4th of February at the Bellemoor Tavern in Southampton. The time and date might change but ill post here if it does.
The Bellemoor has a small number of off road parking spaces but there are plenty of other places nearby should parking be necessary.

First Meet Up

Living in Southampton, stuck pretty much on the border between the south east and the south west a problem arises. Which activist group should I join up with? London is just that wee bit too far to travel to for an evening of rabid ranting with like minded Libertarians. I’ve drunk way too much Scrumpy in the West Country over the years, so that rules out that option.

Rob of the LPUK SE group somehow managed to convince me (we were in a pub at the time, ill say no more) that it would be a good idea to set up my own group for those of us who are equally confused as to whether we’re in the SE or SW. So here it is, the Hampshire Libertarian party blogspot page.

I want to start off by trying to sort out a monthly pub meet. Over time I hope this will lead to us figuring out ways to get the party message across to the unsuspecting public, but one thing at a time. Ill do a ‘when and where’ post soon.
